What we collect when you contact us or commission a teardown, why we hold it, and how to have it removed.
Who we are
Northbound is a trading name of [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. We are the controller of the personal data described on this page. Anything here that is unclear can be settled by writing to hello@trynorthbound.io.
What we collect
When you email us we hold your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to put in the message. When you commission a teardown we also hold the URL you send us, your billing details as processed by our payment provider, and any access you grant us to your analytics.
We do not ask for special category data and you should not send us any. We do not buy contact lists and we do not enrich the details you give us with data from anywhere else.
Why we hold it
To answer you, to deliver work you have commissioned, to invoice for it, and to keep the records a business is required to keep. Where we rely on legitimate interests, the interest is running a small consulting business and replying to the people who contact it.
We do not use your data to train models and we do not sell it. If we ever want to quote you or name you as a client, we will ask first, in writing, and a no costs you nothing.
Who else sees it
Our email provider, our payment processor, and our accountant. Each is bound by its own contract and sees only what it needs. Analytics access you grant us stays with the people working on your teardown and is revoked on request or on delivery, whichever comes first.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted within twelve months. Records tied to paid work are held for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and deleted after that.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@trynorthbound.io and we will act within thirty days. If you think we have handled your data badly you are entitled to complain to your local supervisory authority, and we would rather you told us first so we can fix it.
Changes
We will update this page when the practice changes, and the date at the top is the date of the current version. This policy is governed by [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION].
